Tennent Football, Parent Meetings, Boosters! What is all of this and Why Should I Get Involved? Tennent Football has to raise their own funds for activities and supplies that would once have been considered basic necessities, and parent volunteers are essential in helping to organize and chaperone these fundraising events, as well as to participate in other football activities. Tennent Football volunteers offer a huge resource and support base for the school, our community and the football team, while showing their kids the importance of participating in the larger community. Read on, this gets better, I promise..........click to read>> MORE>>

What are the "boosters"? Simply caring, concerned parents of football players who come together as a team to help fundraise, help out in the snack bar, coordinate camp meals, help with the novelties and website, there are so many tasks! We need your help, so come to our monthly booster meetings. Football meetings are the second Tuesday of every month in room #150 at the high school. Come see how you can HELP.

Your student is entering the teen years. What that MAY come down to is a lack of communication between you and your student athlete! That's normal as they try to grow and find themselves. Hopefully he or she will let you know what's up with football, but sometimes, hand-outs and information will be lost, never to reach your eyeballs! Here's the answer to staying informed - You want to be in the loop, You need to stay informed. The ONLY way to do that is to be part of your childs team. How? Join the Tennent Football Parents (Boosters) and come out to our monthly meetings which are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm in room#150 at the high school.

A Good Way to Meet People Because your tastes and ideas change as you grow, you might feel like you have less in common with certain people than you did before. That's where another benefit of volunteering for Tennent Football comes in. It allows you to meet people who have similar interests - they care about this issue enough to volunteer, and it allows you to share some common ground. You may make new friends of the same age or of different ages - or you might just get a new bunch of acquaintances. Either way, you come out ahead. Besides that, it's a fun no pressure atmosphere! Expand Your Mind Volunteering for Tennent Football is a great way to learn new skills - from learning to work as part of a team with all different types of people to setting and reaching goals. It allows you the chance to see what kinds of things you're best at and which things you enjoy the most. A volunteer job or even a simple one time task you love can even help shape your ideas about your goals for the future. When I started volunteering, I was let's say, just o.k. with web designing, now, if I want to I could make it a full time career, simply because I chose to help out Tennent Football...
